re-releases and restorations

This section of the website will lists references to Canadian heritage titles that have been restored, re-mastered, reprinted, or transferred to more accessible formats for access and preservation purposes, with a particular focus o­n titles that have been re-released for broader public access.

Canadian repositories contain a vast legacy of archival audiovisual records, however the following are considered preserved and recovered materials. In some cases they are available for o­n site consultation, but often are no longer available for diffusion and access due to preservation and rights considerations. These titles are usually no longer in distribution.

The titles listed below provide a sampling of Canadian heritage works that have been restored, reformatted and made accessible to audiences. We welcome announcements for this section, and these be sent to content@avtrust.ca.
