10th Anniversary Screenings
The AV Trust has many partners in the audiovisual community who will be hosting or developing programming to celebrate our 10th anniversary year:
September 17, 2006 - The 26th Annual Atlantic Film Festival is screening the 2005 MasterWorks Film Le déclin de l'empire américain, which will be introduce by an AV Trust board member. For more information, please visit www.atlanticfilm.com

The NFB Mediatheque in Toronto will be showing a number of free, public screenings of MasterWorks films. The line up is as follows:

The CBC's Graham Spry Theatre will be screening four presentations of the Canadian television classic, Anne of Green Gables. This showings will be as follows:

Starting October 26, 2006 - The Toronto International Film Festival Group and Film Circuit will begin a special MasterWorks program, starting with a 7:15pm screening of Le chat dans le sac at the Cinematheque Ontario, Art Gallery of Ontario, 317 Dundas Street W., Toronto. Other screenings include The Grey Fox (Sunday, November 5 at 3pm) and La vraie nature de Bernadette (Tuesday, November 7 at 8:45pm). October 27, 2006 - In support of the proposed UNESCO World Day for Audiovisual Heritage, the Cinémathèque québécoise will be hosting a screening of The Rowdyman. This will include an introduction by one of our Board members and a reception. For more information, please visit www.cinematheque.qc.ca.
December 6, 2006 - The Canadian Film Institute will be presenting The Street and Le déclin de l'empire américain at 7pm the Library & Archives auditorium at 395 Wellington Street in Ottawa. Admission is $6 for members and $10 for non-members.
